Purpose / Main area of Responsibilities:
The main focus of an Apprentice Technician is to carrying out a range of engine & mechanical tests, to diagnose, repair and service as detailed per product warranty guidelines, while training with qualified technicians.
Key job functions & Accountabilities
The Apprentice Technician carries out a range of duties relating to the service of vehicles, including:
Basic servicing and repairing the mechanical parts of vehicles such as the engine, transmission (clutch, gearbox, differential), and the suspension systems (springs, steering, wheels, brakes, and tyres)
Taking all necessary steps to diagnose to ensure the correct operation of vehicles sold under dealer warranty including the dismantling and reconstruction or replacement of faulty components
Minor repairs to the mechanical parts of the motor vehicle such as the engine, transmission, and the suspension systems
Installing optional extras to new vehicles as required
Reporting all necessary work, service, or repairs to service manager and record using in-house databases or reporting systems
Ordering parts needed as part of warranty service
Maintaining a safe working environment through ensuring the correct operation of all tools and specialized equipment
Providing high-level guest service to the dealerships guests

Purpose / Main area of Responsibilities: The main focus of the New Vehicle Sales Manager is to direct a team of new vehicle sales employees to achieve predetermined sales targets, and ensure complete guest satisfaction is delivered. Working alongside the Sales Manager and leading the sales team on the showroom floor.
Key job functions & Accountabilities
Lead the sales team in achieving sales targets and ensure a high level of guest satisfaction.
Assist with the day-to-day operations and supervision of the new car sales department.
Develop and implement sales strategies to drive vehicle sales.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing training to the sales team.
Monitor inventory levels and manage stock levels to optimize vehicle sales.
Work closely with the marketing team to design and implement promotional activities.
Provide strong leadership and support to the team to enhance customer service and sales results.
Handle customer complaints and queries, ensuring a resolution that aligns with company values and processes.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications and features for all Toyota vehicles.
Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and applicable laws.

The main focus of the Business Manager - Finance and Insurance is to provide a high-quality finance and
insurance service to guests, for both new and used vehicles. The Business Manager - Finance and Insurance
should act as an ambassador of the dealership and Toyota amongst the wider community.
Key job functions & Accountabilities
The Business Manager - Finance and Insurance carries out a range of duties including:
Providing vehicle finance and insurance to guests
Preparing routine financial documents
Providing a high level of guest service measured by Net Promoter Score (NPS)
Communicating with all parties involved in a purchase
Maintaining, updating and utilising the DAR information records system
Imputing computer data.
Ensure rates offered are at acceptable levels
Completing finance, leasing and insurance contracts/policies
Ensuring legal requirements, processes and professional sales compliance is achieved in all transactions.
Provide and maintain an up to date and accurate log of status of all Financial and Insurance contracts including expected Dealership income generated.
Promoting the dealership and the Toyota brand
Maintaining good working relationships with the dealership finance and insurance partners to secure competitive interest rates and financing programs
Maintaining good working relationships with the new and used vehicle sales team
Attend and contribute to Sales Team Meetings building awareness of the new and used vehicle sales
departments, to assist in the sale of motor vehicles and to maximise dealership finance and insurance to our guests.
Training and providing the new and used vehicle sales teams with information on finance and lease programs, the benefits of the dealership's financing, and such products as Access etc.
