Purpose / Main area of Responsibilities:
The main focus of an Apprentice Technician is to carrying out a range of engine & mechanical tests, to diagnose, repair and service as detailed per product warranty guidelines, while training with qualified technicians.
Key job functions & Accountabilities
The Apprentice Technician carries out a range of duties relating to the service of vehicles, including:
- Basic servicing and repairing the mechanical parts of vehicles such as the engine, transmission (clutch, gearbox, differential), and the suspension systems (springs, steering, wheels, brakes, and tyres)
- Taking all necessary steps to diagnose to ensure the correct operation of vehicles sold under dealer warranty including the dismantling and reconstruction or replacement of faulty components
- Minor repairs to the mechanical parts of the motor vehicle such as the engine, transmission, and the suspension systems
- Installing optional extras to new vehicles as required
- Reporting all necessary work, service, or repairs to service manager and record using in-house databases or reporting systems
- Ordering parts needed as part of warranty service
- Maintaining a safe working environment through ensuring the correct operation of all tools and specialized equipment
- Providing high-level guest service to the dealerships guests
- Demonstrate behaviours that align with company policies, organizational values, and The Toyota Way

Reports to: Pre-Delivery Manager

Purpose: The purpose of the Detailer is to facilitate exceptional guest service by promptly and efficiently preparing cars for delivery.
Key job functions & Accountabilities
- Washing and detailing cars thoroughly to ensure guests are satisfied with the condition of their vehicle
- Demonstrating time management skills to distribute cars to be detailed throughout the course of the day
- Demonstrating attention to detail by identifying areas of incompleteness
- Adjusting settings of vehicles as instructed for delivery
- Follow the directions given by supervisory/management staff.
- Always maintain safe working practices
- Report all workplace hazards and report all WHS issues.
- Comply with WHS, Workers' Compensation, and Rehabilitation Policies
- Contribute to a hazard-free and OHS compliant work place.
- Participate where required in the resolution of WHS issues

Purpose / Main area of Responsibilities: The main focus of the New Vehicle Sales Manager is to direct a team of new vehicle sales employees to achieve predetermined sales targets, and ensure complete guest satisfaction is delivered. Working alongside the Sales Manager and leading the sales team on the showroom floor.
Key job functions & Accountabilities
- Lead the sales team in achieving sales targets and ensure a high level of guest satisfaction.
- Assist with the day-to-day operations and supervision of the new car sales department.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive vehicle sales.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing training to the sales team.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage stock levels to optimize vehicle sales.
- Work closely with the marketing team to design and implement promotional activities.
- Provide strong leadership and support to the team to enhance customer service and sales results.
- Handle customer complaints and queries, ensuring a resolution that aligns with company values and processes.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications and features for all Toyota vehicles.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and applicable laws.

About the Role
- The Used Car Assistant carries out a range of duties related to the maintenance and operation of the car yard and pre-delivery department, including:
- Preparing vehicles for display and delivery to customers.
- Taking and uploading photos to online platforms (carsales ect).
- Assisting reconditioning Coordinator in day-to-day operations.
- Driving vehicles between sites as required.

- You hold a full NSW manual driver's license.

The New Vehicle Assistant Sales Manager carries out a range of duties related to managing the new car sales department, including:
- Lead the Sales Team in sales performance and ensure a world class customer experience journey.
- Manage the Sales team when the Sales Manager is not on-site.
- Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships.
- Respond to and follow up all sales enquiries using appropriate methods.ning Coordinator in day-to-day operations.
- Assisting the Sales Manager with the planning, organisation and day to day operation of the Sales Department
- Conduct regular follow-up of all Guests enquiries
- Sales department audit compliance of Vehicle Purchase Contracts
- Handle all enquiries in an efficient and helpful manner

Reports to: Stock Controller/Financial Controller

Purpose / Main Area of Responsibilities
To register vehicles and submit documentation accurately to Service NSW, maintain a very strong relationship with Service NSW, the sales team & insurance companies. To process deals for Ryde Toyota and to maintain deal compliance across all sales departments. This administration role also provides support to the administration department.
Key Job Functions & Accountabilities
- Act as an ambassador/concierge of the dealership and Toyota amongst the wider community
- Being responsible for registering of all the Dealerships New, Used & Fleet vehicles with Service NSW.
- Make regular trips to the Service NSW office and maintain a good relationship with Service NSW via face to face & over the phone.
- Completing all paperwork for vehicle Registration and the applications and transfer of personalised plates.
- Compulsory Third Party (CTP) creditors invoice entry into general ledger.
- Entering of transaction summary report from Service NSW into TUNE.
- Ad hoc administration tasks as required.
- Display and maintain a professional manner and excellent personal conduct whilst in the ‘open plan’ environment of the Administration office and throughout the Dealership as per reasonable expectation and company policy.
- Ensure prompt and courteous guest attention wherever a guest needs assistance. Including meet and greet office visitors where required.
- Covering Reception at lunchtime, Fridays and all other times reception is vacant.
- Daily banking – collating, reconciling and banking of EFTPOS, cash and cheque payments received via Sales, Parts and Service departments daily takings across Chatswood and Ryde.
